Caitlyn
Jenner says that she is worried of setting a good example to the society
especially now that she has become a huge star in the Keeping Up With The
Kardashians. She says that she has to stay awake thinking about transgender
issues as well as how to say and do the right things to be a role model to the
society. The father of six, formerly known as Bruce, reveals in a new trailer
for her E! reality show I Am Cait that she's being kept awake
at night because of the huge responsibility to society, and more specifically,
the transgender community.
'Am
I going to do everything right? Am I going to say the right things? Am I going
to project the right image? My mind is just spinning with thoughts. I just hope
I get it right.'
I Am Caitlyn, which was announced
days after the magazine cover and will air on July 26, is a KUWTK spin-off
documentary that will explore Caitlyn's journey towards 'the new normal’.
She
has already been honoured with an Arthur Ashe Courage Award at this month's
2015 ESPYs, just one month after she shed the image of Bruce.
During
her now-famous acceptance speech, she united communities by saying: 'If you
want to call me names, make jokes, doubt my intentions, go ahead, because the
reality is, I can take it. 'But for the thousands of kids out there coming to
terms with being true to who they are, they shouldn't have to take it. It's
not just about one person, it's about thousands of people. It's not just about
me, it's about all of us accepting one another. We're all different. That's not
a bad thing. It's a good thing.'
