About a week
ago, the Nigerian-based Kenyan singer who is signed to Choc City, complained on
a Twitter that majority of Kenyans are the least supportive when it comes to
music and arts. Here is what she tweeted…
“The least supportive...Kenyans make it hard for an
artist to be an artist, this includes fashion, art, music, acting whatever.
Then get angry when we are appreciated elsewhere, this is heartbreak. We are
the least patriotic people on this continent as it pertains to the arts.”
I suppose this
was a positive criticism, but it did not go well with some of her fans and more
so her haters, who came hard on her. She replied to some of those posts, however. Everyone has the freedom to support
whoever they want, but bury the hatchet and vote for her. I think you have made
her afraid to ask for your votes anymore. She is representing Kenya. BEST FEMALE ARTIST OF THE YEAR https://goo.gl/8TvSX7

Here is a compilation
of the tweets, just for the blog archive. You can take a look.
